Everything mechanical, or electronic, breaks down and nearly every computer made is expandable. This is also true of your Toshiba notebook but to be honest, as far as notebook technology has progressed, it is still not a great idea for you to go poking around in your notebook unless you really know what you are doing. Upgrades
Generally speaking any notebook computer can be upgraded. Look at your owners manual or go online to determine what parts can be replaced. Normally you can upgrade your hard drive and memory but unless you know how to do this you should take it to a professional.
When it comes to memory you are probably better off using genuine Toshiba notebook parts on that but hard drives are made by other manufacturers and you need to check your manual for compatibility.
It is not possible to upgrade your laptop screen. If you would like or need a larger screen then you will need to get a new laptop.
Dead notebook
