1: Why Should Your Child Play With A Wooden Truck When He Could Be Playing With An Action Figure That Talks?
Wooden toy trucks have been favorite toys for kids for decades. We all understand why parents like them so well - they are safe, there aren't any sharp edges or pieces which will break off and become a choking hazard and they're durable. But why, given all the remote control toys and electronic toys that talk and play games, would a kid still prefer a simple wooden truck or car to play with?
2: Everybody Loves To Play With Wooden Blocks
It seems like one of the first toys every toddler receives is a set of wooden building blocks. I had a set when I was a child and I bet you did, too. Remember? There were squares and cubes and rectangles and triangles. And they were bright red, yellow, blue and green? And even if you simply had one set you had lots of blocks to make castles and houses or forts. But if you had more than once set you could build a whole town! And they were one of the few toys that my folks let us play with either inside or out because even if you left them underneath the tree or in the center of the driveway you really couldn't hurt them.
